50 Pre-Kindergarten Openings Available

San Angelo ISD is announcing 50 current openings for young children in our Pre-Kindergarten program. Pre-Kindergarten is the district's half-day Kindergarten preparation program. Both morning and afternoon spaces are available.
To be eligible, children must have turned four years old by September 1. In addition to being the age of four, they must meet at least one other of the following eligibility requirements: they must be unable to speak or comprehend the English language, homeless, foster children, must meet federal income guidelines, be part of a military family, or be in the conservatorship of the Department of Family & Protective Services.
Parents who have an eligible child may register at any Pre-K campus. The following elementary schools have Pre-K programs: Alta Loma, Austin, Bradford, Glenmore, McGill, Reagan, and San Jacinto. To enroll, parents will need to bring the child's birth certificate, Social Security card, updated shot record, military ID, proof of income, and proof of address (utility bill).
