Santa Rita Project:
This project is complete.
This project is complete.
The main part of the building is complete except for the four rooms on the north hallway. They are projected to complete these rooms around December 1 (maybe) . The gym and fieldhouse are complete except for some punch list items and we have occupied them again. As soon as portables are all rwmoved, we will begin dirtwork for the track and field.
This project is 99% complete. Fencing and landscape work, along with some punch list items, are almost complete.
San Jacinto Project:
We are almost complete on this project. The job trailer should be moving out in the next two weeks and all items except for some landscaping should be complete before December 1st. We are replacing exterior doors and finishing exterior painting. One portable has been removed from the site and the last one should be moved in the next two weeks. This job should wrap up by Christmas.
Kelton Ag and building maintenance shops: Complete
Tucker Admin/classroom wing: Complete.
Phase 3 Renovations: The Student Service Center is complete and operational.
Banneker 1: - Complete.
Banneker 2: Complete.
Schweitzer: - Complete.
Holmes: Metal stud walls are complete and most of the dry wall is up. Wainscot tile is up in the hallway and in all restrooms. Tape and float will begin soon followed by painting. This project is scheduled for completion around Christmas.
Newton: Asbestos abatement will begin on Newton on January 7th. We will relocate classes during the Christmas break.
The north wing is complete and we moved into the space on October 4th and 5th. Work continues on the south and middle wings and they should be ready in the next two months. We anticipate this project being complete in May.
Work continues on the office building. Drywall has been installed in most areas. We are waiting on some clarification on new exterior windows for this building. It looks like it will be January before this is complete. The two classroom addition is progressing and should also be complete about the same time.
Bradford is dried in with the exterior brick and block almost complete. Interior spaces have drywall in place. Painting prep should start soon. This is scheduled for completion by January 7th. We will then start on the south end of the building with the renovation.
The demolition on the downstairs is complete and metal stud walls are going up. We have one issue to resolve with an engineer about a load bearing wall that needs to be removed. That should occur this week so we can continue with the studs. Drywall will follow. Completion of this area will not happen before February.
Lake View Project:
The bid for Lake View was approved at $3.6 million. This is over our original budget for the campus but still within our overall budget for the bond. The construction site has been fenced and dirt work could start as early as next week. This building is scheduled for completion in August of 2013.
