SAISD Offers Princeton Review Courses
October 5, 2012
SAISD will offer Princeton Review student training sessions for the ACT exam during the fall semester. ACT sessions will begin Monday, October 22. Numerous SAISD teachers have attended training with Princeton Review personnel and will conduct the sessions. Students enrolled in one of these sessions will have the opportunity to take two practice tests and will work with Princeton Review materials throughout the classes.
As the result of a grant acquired by SAISD, the classes offered in 2012 will be offered at the much reduced fee of $100. For students on free/reduced lunch, the fee is $50. The fee for students not enrolled in SAISD is $350. The courses are targeted at sophomores and juniors; however, freshmen are also invited to attend.
Registration will take place on both high school campuses in the Student Service Center. The deadline to register for ACT is October 17, 2012.
